Monaghan, O., Cpl., 1918
In Bertrancourt Military Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 290102 Corporal Oswald Monaghan, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 17/08/1918.

Margaret Allison reports that he was a boarder at 51 Beatrice Street while working as a putter in Ashington Colliery. His name was found too late to add to the new memorial in Ashington.
