The plaque was unveiled by Lieut.Col. G.H. ?Stobart, CBE., DSO, commanding the 6th D.L.I. Dedicated by Rev. H.G.E. ?Suddes, Chaplain to the Battalion.

Former Drill Hall, renamed in Major Badcock’s memory.
There is a plaque which tells of the dedication.

This hall is named the Badcock Drill Hall in memory of Major S. Badcock, 6th Battalion D.L.I.who fell in action near Ypres, April 26th 1915.

1. At the ceremony a silver bugle was presented to the battalion by Mr. F.E. Badcock, father of Major Badcock, on behalf of Captain Walter Badcock, brother of Major Badcock.
