Memorial Description

Book of Remembrance. It has a A4 white plastic binder in which are clear pockets, each containing printed sheets bearing a poppy motif. Each page has been typed or word processed.
This is in a wooden lockable cabinet 32 inches high 54 inches wide with glass doors, with the words “Lest We Forget” in gold lettering on the front face.

Whilst every effort has / been made to record the / names of those who gave / their lives for their / country, there may be / others who through the / passage of time do not / appear in this book
Their sacrifice is / nontheless appreciated / and remembered.

It is not know at time of writing (17th July 2002) when this was put in place, or when the lists were typed - the printing suggests that these may have been word processed and this booklet may have been a local history project, or something similar” John & Mavis Dixon.

2. Among those helping with compiling the book was Syd Guy.

3. The list was open for inspection in August 1990 so that people can ensure that all names were included.
