Stained glass window of a two lights. The left hand light depicts Thomas Langley, Cardinal in 1437; above him are the arms of the ancient kingdom of Northumbria blow a cardinal’s hat. The right hand light depicts Mandell Creighton, Bishop 1843-1901. Above him are the arms of the Bishopric of Durham below bishop’s mitre. The dedication is carried inside a cartouche on each window.

of Christ Church, Oxford
who fell on July 1st, 1916 in the
First Battle of the Somme.
