Batchelor, W.F., L/Cpl., 1917
In Hargicourt British Cemetery, Aisne, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 21/338 Lance Corporal William Francis Batchelor, serving with the 21st (Tyneside Scottish) Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers, attached Trench Mortar Battery, who died 23/09/1917.

ROLL OF HONOUR

BATCHELOR.- Killed in action on September 23rd, 1917, aged 27 years, Lance-Corporal W.F. Batchelor, N.F., son-in-law of Mr and Mrs Robert Dott, 33 Doctor Terrace, Bedlington.- Deeply mourned by his father and mother-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law, and his three little children, Ada, Peggy and Nancy.

William Francis Batchelor is remembered in at Bedlington as Frank Batchelor on B15.01 and as Batchelor, W.F. on B15.02 and B15.06
