L.A.C. Richardson is reported as 'Died on Active Service' in Casualty Communique No. 271, Flight Magazine, September 2nd 1943, page 269.
The Berwickshire News and General Advertiser of Tuesday 24/08/1943 reported his death, with a photo captioned as follows:
L/AC Arthur Richardson, of the R.A.F., and second son of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Richardson, Westwood Avenue, Wooler, who has died in a military hospital in India, from malaria. His older brother, Sergt. R. Richardson, whom he met shortly before his death, and had their photos taken together, has sent a cable to his parents expressing sympathy with them in their sad bereavement.
He is remembered in Berwick on B25.39 and in Wooler on W68.01 and W68.02
