In Tweedmouth Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of V237 Sapper Ralph Young serving with the Miscellaneous Trades Company South African Engineers who died 26/03/1919.

The family headstone reads on one face:

Son of Henry and Margaret Young, of 54, Shielfield Terrace, Tweedmouth.
