In Menin Road South Military Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 113148 Gunner Douglas Bolam Weatherburn, serving with the Royal Garrison Artillery who died 06/10/1917.

In Rothbury Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
Annie Mary
daughter of
John and Mary Weatherburn
who died at the Tosson
Oct. ?4th 1892 aged 3 years.
Also Peggy their daughter
who died at Dancing Hall
March 16th 1913 aged 26 years.
Also Douglas B. their son
killed in action
October 9th 1917 aged 22 years.
The above John Douglas
Weatherburn
who died April 1st 1929
aged 78 years.
Also Mary
beloved wife of the above
John Douglas
who died Nov. 9th 1936 aged 75 years.
