On the Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France, is the name of 17267 Private John Angus, serving with the 6th Battalion King’s Own Scottish Borderers, who died 25/09/1915.

Morpeth Herald 05/11/1915 carries a brief obituary:

Private John Angus, 6th K.O.S.B., son of Wm. and Mable Angus, Percy House, Clayport, Alnwick, was killed in action on Sept. 25th. He leaves a widow and five children.
