On Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France, is the name of 17469 Private Andrew Jobson, serving with the 10th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment, who died 26/09/1915.

Morpeth Herald 29/12/1916 carries a brief obituary:

Mrs Jobson, Dispensary Street, Alnwick, has been officially informed that her nephew Private Andrew Jobson, N.F. [sic] (previously reported missing), was killed in action on 26th September, 1915.

Andrew Jobson is remembered at Alnwick on A11.01 A11.03 and A11.21, in A11.09 page 14, and in A11.56 page 33.
