His grandson, Clive Simm, says that Ralph Simm's middle name was Turner. Following his death, his mother and two sisters emigrated to New Zealand. His mother died soon after.
Ralph Turner Simm is remembered at Washington on W96.01 and at Sunderland on S140.048
