Dorothy Hall has submitted the following:-
Robert William was the son of Moses and Elizabeth Wilson born at Evenwood in 1896. In 1911 the family are at High Etherley and Robert is a Miner.
Robert enlisted at Bishop Auckland 17/11/1914. He went to France and died of wounds at Hampstead Hospital, England on 03/10/1916.
Kevin Richardson in Evenwood Remembers reports Robert Wilson's funeral at Evenwood. By this time Moses is living at Ingleton.
Robert William Wilson is remembered at High Etherley on H127.01 and H127.02 and at Evenwood on E69.01 and E69.02
