William Kirby has submitted the following:-

Joseph born in 1906 was the son of Matthew and Elizabeth Ranson. They were living at 30 Constance Street Pelton in 1911. He married Annie Robinson in 1927. Their son Joseph was born 25th August 1927.

In 1939 Annie and son Joseph were living at 4 Furnace Terrace, Pelton Fell.

Joseph died in 1942 and is buried at Pelton, nearby are his parents Matthew died 1935 aged 66 years and Elizabeth died 1960 aged 85 years.

Joseph Ranson is remembered at Chester-le Street in C105.05 C105.38 and on C105.40
