On the Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France, is the name of 6627 Lance Corporal Norman Tucker, serving with the 12th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, who died 27/09/1915.

Morpeth Herald 21/04/1916 carries a brief obituary:

Mr and Mrs Wm. Tucker, of Ormston Street, Hartford Colliery, have received information that their son Lance-Corporal Norman Tucket [sic], of the Northumberland Fusiliers, who was previously reported as missing, is now reported by the War Office as being killed in action on September 26th [sic]. He was 25 years of age, and leaves a widow but no family.

He is remembered at Kibblesworth on K23.01, at Marley Hill on M34.01 and in Whickham on W86.08
