Cradock, (Craddock), A., Pte., 1916
In Perth Cemetery China Wall is the Commonwealth War Grave of 6/4189 Private Arthur Cradock serving with the 1/6th Durham Light Infantry who died 29/02/1916.

Ron Shotton has submitted the following:-

Arthur Cradock was the son of Joseph (died 1910) and Jane Hannah Cradock born in 1892 at Tottenham near Coundon. In 1911 Arthur was living with his brother John and his family at Eldon Lane. Arthur was a Coal Miner (Putter).

Arthur enlisted at Bishop Auckland, went to France and was killed in action 29/02/1916.

Arthur Cradock is remembered at High Etherley on H127.01 and H127.02 at Bishop Auckland in B140.12 and at South Church on S144.01 and S144.05
