Unveiled Monday 18th October 1982 by the Mayor of North Tyneside.
Memorial Description
Two seats, slatted, with cast iron ends in the form of a mythical creature, with a head and scaly neck, a wing underneath the arm rest, and decorated with scrolls. The dedication is incised and painted black in plain upper and lower case lettering along the top rail of one seat, while the name and dates of birth and death are on the top rail of the other seat.
