Memorial Description

Plaque 10 inches high x 2 feet wide. The lettering is incised using elaborate Roman upper case for the main text but lower case for the quotation at the foot.

of the West Yorkshire Regiment
Born 24th June 1888, died of wounds
11th Aug. 1918
Erected by his sorrowing parents.
Father in Thy Gracious keeping
Leave we now Thy servant sleeping.
