Memorial Description

Plaque of metal set in a plain wood frame. There is a single white line border. At centre top is the badge enamelled in full colour. The dedication is underneath this, the top line of which is in a downward curve. The names are listed in three columns under the years in which they attended the college. The dedication is in Roman capitals, the names are in sans serif lettering.

Notes

1. This was once a private home, then taken over by Sunderland Training College, closed Dec. 2004. The building has been absorbed into the Sunderland Church High School. The memorial is where it has always been.

3. Pencilled notes indicate that
T.A.L Warriner was a Flight Lieutenant;
C.O. Sayer was a Lieutenant;
A. Locke D.C.M. was a private;
A.L. Brock was a Captain;
J. Foley was possibly a Captain;
H. Stobbs and F.C. Nasby were 2nd Lieutenants
