Plaque 1 foot high x 1 foot 8 inches wide set on a wood pattress 3 inches wider. There is a single line white border. The lettering is in Roman capitals.

safe return of 87 men and women
of this church who served in H.M.Forces
in World War 1939-1945
and in affectionate remembrance of
Sgt. Norman H. Smith

Pte. Leslie Varty
