Unveiled 21st Feb. 1920 by Bishop of Durham.

Memorial Description

Stained glass window of three lights, on the theme of the Resurrection. It depicts Christ rising from the tomb, with the words "I am the Resurrection and the Life". On either side is an angel bearing a trumpet, and below are soldiers guarding the empty tomb.
At the base of the centre is an angel bearing a scroll on which are the words "Greater love . . . friend". In right and left openings are the badges of the N.F. and the D.L.I. Below this is the dedication.
Underneath is a brass plaque bearing the names. It has a chequered border, otherwise is very plain. The names are listed in five columns divided by vertical lines. Lettering is in Roman capitals.
