Memorial Description
Stained glass window of two lights depicting in a wooded setting (left) the crucified Christ and (right) a soldier raising his hand in greeting to the cross. The dedication runs across the foot of both lights, using archaic capitals.

memory of bombardier Edmund Dixon RGA
son of the late William and Jessie Dixon
Gateshead killed in action
near Mont Kemmel Sept. 6th 1918 while
serving his country aged 37 years.

Damaged. The pane carrying the dedication is broken.

Gateshead Stained Glass Co. Designer - Mr. J. Eadie Reid of Kew Gardens.
Notes
1. The church has closed. It has been bought by a Roman Catholic sect called Pius X. The memorials are to remain in situ.
