Memorial Description

Plaque, 37 inches (939m) high x 44 inches (1.11m) wide with shallow rounded top, set on a grey marble pattress which echoes the shape. There is a single line border around the edge and a simple cross at centre top. Lettering is in sans serif capitals, apart from the words "To the Glory of God" which are in Gothic.

White marble plaque on grey marble backing.

Inscription

To the glory of God
and in loving memory of
Coun. Andrew Dryden Pratt,
for many years a churchwarden of this church,
born May. 26. 1860. died March. 26. 1914
This tablet was erected by Jane Pratt, his widow.

Also of their eldest son
James Sanderson Pratt. A.B.,
of the Howe Batt. R.N.D. who died of wounds
received in action Oct. 28. 1917, aged 30 years.
and is buried in Nine Elms British Cemetery
near Poperinghe. Belgium.

The strife is o'er, the battle done;. Now is the victor's triumph won.
O let the song of praise be sung, Alleluia!
