Memorial Description

Roll of Honour 35 inches high x 24½ inches wide in moulded wood frame. The Roll is pre-printed. At centre top is the name of the church in blue lettering with red initials. Below this is a Union flag between four flags. Across these is a ribbon bearing the words “Roll of Honour” and the dates. The names are listed in four columns divided by vertical black lines. Lettering of the names is printed using sans serif lower case. Those who fell have the word “killed” after their name.

1. West Stanley was the old name for Stanley. The Wesleyan Methodist became the Stanley Central Methodist Church and was demolished in 1983.
