Memorial Description

Roll of Honour behind glass in an elaborate frame, total size approx.. 3 feet high x 2 feet 6 inches wide.. There is an elaborate border which is different at the top from the lower part. The whole is in Art Deco style. The dedication is in elaborate script, much of it in blue lettering The names are listed in three columns in elaborate capitals in black with red capitals, and honours in black.

Notes

1. From a membership of approx. 290, some 83 had signed up of whom 8 fell.

2. The club began as a pigeon fanciers' club in 1898, and became a social club on 8th December, 1902. The first club secretary was a man called John Angus Morris who also owned the premises, which he leased back to the club.

3. This has been in storage for some time but will be put on display.
