On the Thiepval Memorial is the name of 46261 Private Henry Glendinning Brown, serving with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers who died 02/11/1916.

In Amble West Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In
Loving Memory
of
Jane
dearly beloved wife of
Peter Brown
who died at Radcliffe
Feb. 6th 1918, aged 58 years.
Also of their sons
James L. Brown
Trooper, 1st Life Guards,
died of wounds Jan. 29th 1916
in his 19th year
and is buried in St.Omer Cemetery France.
Henry G. Brown
Private, Royal Welsh Fusiliers,
killed in action at Mametz Wood France
Nov. 2nd 1915 aged 33 years.
And their daughter
Ann E. Brown
died May 21st 1928 aged 26 years.
Also of the above
Peter Brown
who died July1st 1926
aged 70 years.
