In St.Mary’s Churchyard is a headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
My dear father
James Telford
Who died at Morpeth Feb.6th 1918
Aged ?85 years
Not forgotten by his son
William
Who was serving with theBritish Forces, Salonica
At the time.
(the next line cannot be read.)

“W. Telford” is remembered in Morpeth on M17.14 which includes the names of men who served.
