Simon Glancey has provided the following:

P/O Donald McIntosh Gray joined No 610 Squadron on the 27/08/1940. He was shot down over Dover 24/08/1940 and crash landed near Shepherdswell in Spitfire X4102 "K". He was admitted to Waldershaw Hospital on 25/08/40 with injuries after being wounded and then transferred to Royal Masonic Hospital on 28/08/40.

He was killed in a flying accident in Spitfire I X4011 DW-Q on 05/11/40, aged 21.
