In Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1744 Private James Connelly, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 27/01/1916.

Soldiers Died in the Great War states that he was born in Morpeth and enlisted in Amble.
