Norienne Phoebe Quinn, was born in 1925, one of four? children of Edward Quinn, [born 29th July 1887], and Barbara A. Quinn, [born 5th March 1889], of Whitley Bay.

One of the chidren was called Edward, born 14th September 1926, who in 1939 was still at school.

In 1939 they were residing at 22 Duke Street, Whitley Bay, Northumberland. Also at this address was Eliza A Reynolds, [born 15th March 1910, married], James R. Reynolds, [born 28th February 1933, at school], and Edward Reynolds, [born 26th January 1937].
