Mr and Mrs E Francis, 7 High Row, Seaton Burn, have been notified that their son, Corporal Stanley Francis, N.F. has been killed in action in France. The deceased, who was 26 years of age, was, prior to enlistment at the outbreak of war, employed as a miner at Seaton Burn Colliery
