Hannah, J.W., PWRC, 1941
Hexham Urban District Council reported the death of Police War Reserve Constable John William Hannah, who was injured at Smith's Docks and died in Hexham Emergency Hospital on 12/10/1941.

He was aged 67 and was on duty at the Dock gates during an Air raid on the 1st October 1941.

John William Hannah is remembered at North Shields on N34.24, in Wallsend on W7.46 and on the Police Memorial Trust
