Memorial Description
Plaque 2 feet 3 inches (676mm) high x 1 foot 6 (451mm) inches wide, with a raised square section at mid-top. There is a plain raised border. At the top there is the Tynemouth County Borough badge, raised and picked out in gold. The lettering is incised and gilded, using mainly serif capitals, with ranks are in lower case.

1. Since 2013 this has been kept in safe keeping and is now located in the new Northumbrian Police Headquarters at Middle Engine Lane at Wallsend. Moved about 2015.
