On Plymouth Naval Memorial is the name of Acting Sub Lieutenant Robert Leslie Pallister, serving with the Royal Naval Reserve who died 23/11/1939.

The Scout Roll of Honour 1939-45 states that he was a member of the 2nd Whitley Bay Group.
