In Vis-en-Artois British Cemetery, Haucourt is the Commonwealth War Grave of 4122 Private Caleb Hardy McGregor, serving with the Welsh Guards who died 25/08/1918.

In Longbenton (Benton) Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
my dear husband
William McGregor
who died Dec. 20th 1918, aged 65 years
Also Pte. Caleb Hardy McGregor
Welsh Guards
dear son of the above
who fell in action Aug. 25th 1918
aged 23 years.
interred at Hancourt, France
Also Catherine, wife of the above
William McGregor
who died Nov. 26th 1927 aged 70 years.
