in Delsaux Farm Cemetery, Beugny, is the Commonwealth War Grave of Tyneside Z/1898 Able Seaman M. Anderson, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 08/10/1918.

The Blyth News 10/10/1921 carries an In Memoriam notice:

ANDERSON- In loving memory of Marshall D. Anderson, R.N. Division, of 29 West Row, Isabella Pit, who was killed in action in France, October 8th, 1918, aged 28.
A light from our household is gone,
A voice we loved is still;
A place is vacant by our hearth,
Which never can be filled.
Ever remembered by his father and mother, brothers and sisters and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and also Miss E. Cooper.

Marshall Anderson is remembered on B42.24 and C58.01 and possibly B42.01 where his sphere of service is different.
