In Seaton Valley (Earsdon) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 269024 Leading Aircraftman Valentine Davidson, serving with the Royal Air Force who died 15/10/1940.

The headstone reads:

Loving memory of
Valentine Davidson R.A.F.
beloved husband of Agnes Davidson
born Feb. 14th 1896
killed by enemy action Oct. 15th 1940.
Also his dear wife
Agnes Davidson
. . . – 1963
