He died that we might live

F/Lt. Tait was a crew member of 186 Sqdn Lancaster I NG147 AP-C which left Stradishall for a raid on a synthetic oil producing plant at Wanne-Eickel but crashed three minutes later at Kedington, exploding on impact.
