On the Soissons Memorial is the name of 200249 Private Louis Spark, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 27/05/1918.

The Newcastle Daily Chronicle 24/07/1919 reports: "The friends of Pte. Louis Spark, 1/5 N.F., Ratcliffe Road, Haydon bridge, have been notified that he is now presumed killed. He was reported missing on May 27, 1918.

A meeting to discuss the resumption of practices by the Haydon Bridge Brass Band states that Pte. Spark was among five members who died. Newcastle Daily Chronicle 12/05/1919.

He is remembered in Haydon Bridge on H24.01, H24.03, H24.04 and H24.05
