In Rue-Petillon Military Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 23/422 Private Alexander Graham, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 23/02/1917.

In Newbiggin (St. Bartholomew) Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:

In
loving memory of
Thomas George
beloved husband of Maria Graham,
who died at Newbiggin Colliery
Octr. 22nd 1920 aged 63 years.
Also of Pte. Alexander Graham
23rd N.F. son of the above
who died from wounds

Alexander Graham is remembered in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on N10.03, N10.06 and N10.14 and in a Book of Honour inside St. Bartholomew's Church.
