Carole Fife has provided the following:
Hebbie was born in 1898, the eldest son of Thomas and Eliza Anderson. He worked in the coal mine and his family lived at 35, Back Clayton Street, Bedlington Station.
Hebbie enlisted early in the War and was sent to Gallipoli. He died at the Battle of Suvla Bay. and is remembered on the Helles Memorial overlooking the Dardanelles.
He is remembered in Bedlington on B15.06 and in Bedlington Station on B163.04
