Taylor, T., Pte., 1917
In Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2990 Private Thomas Taylor, serving with the 57th Battalion Australian Infantry, A.I.F., who died 28/10/1917.

Morpeth Herald 23/11/1917 carries a brief obituary:
ROLL OF HONOUR
TAYLOR.- Died of wounds received on October 28th, Private Thomas Taylor, Australian Infantry Force, aged 21 years, only son of Joseph and Mary Ann Taylor, late of Ashington.
