In Roisel Communal Cemetery Extension is the Commonwealth War Grave of 267416 Corporal R. Reed, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 21/03/1918.

Margaret Allison reports that in 1911 he lived at 37 Castle Terrace, Ashington, and that he was aged 34 years when he died.

He is remembered in Ashington on A17.01 (A17.27) and A17.43
