In St. Mary’s Burial Ground is a headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
John,
Beloved husband of
Euphemia McQueen
who died at Wooler Feb. 22 1920
aged 47 years.
also of George their son
who was killed in action in France
May 27 1918 aged 19 years.
The above
Euphemia McQueen
Who died ??? 1946 aged 71 years

He is remembered in Wooler on W68.01 and W68.02
