In Warlencourt British Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 3771 Private Robert Henry Pringle, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 14/11/1916.

In Amble East Cemetery is a family headstone for Pringle. On the side is the following:

Yvonne Gallagher, a second cousin. states that the order of service of the stained glass window in his memory is found in his mother Isabella's diary and quoted on the file.

Isabella Pringle born at Marden House, Alnmouth, on the 4th day of April 1871;
Henry James Pringle & Isabella Pringle married in St.John's Church Alnmouth by the Rev. D. Moore on April 4th 1891;
Robert Henry Pringle born at Lesbury on the 7th day of August 1892;
George William Pringle born Hermitage Farm Warkworth on 11th Day of April 1898 died at Edwin Street Amble on the 3rd day of Feb. 1899 aged 9 months;
Henry James Pringle died at Edwin Street Amble on the 4th Day of Aug. 1907 aged 44 years;
Killed in action at (Butte de Warlincourt) France on the 14th Day of Nov. 1916 Private Robert Henry Pringle aged 24 years. No.3771. Thy will not mine O Lord.
