I was doing some research at Alnwick library and found this article which I believe relates to R. Nicholson on the Amble memorial. It's the Alnwick Gazette 10/07/1915:
"Pte Robert Nicholson, South Charlton, of 7th NF was killed in action on 26th April. He was the third son of John and Elizabeth Nicholson late of South Charlton, now of Amble. I believe he was the uncle of J.H. Nicholson who is on the South Charlton Memorial, but will check."
Robert Nicholson is remembered on page 43 of A11.56 A11.59 and at Amble on A13.07
