Royal Air Force
23 October 1944 age 20

Sweet is his memory
dear is his name,
worthy of everlasting remembrance.

Thomas was the son of Thomas William and Martha of Westerhope. He served with 76th Squadron. The operational report states: Halifax III, MZ.691 “Q”; Attack on Essen, 16.19 -21.05. This aircraft crashed at Old Buckenham, Norfolk, on return, all of the crew being killed.
