Robson, E.W., Pte., 1917

In Orival Wood Cemetery, Flesquieres is the Commonwealth War Grave of 71748 Private Ernest Weatherstone Robson, serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps who died 24/11/1917.

In Newcastle upon Tyne (St.John's Westgate & Elswick) Cemetery is a family headstone for Robson, the photograph of which is incomplete. On one side is the inscription:

who died May 16th 1925 aged 72 years.
Also of their beloved son
Ernest Weatherstone R.A.M.C.
who died of wounds received
in France, November 24th 1917
aged 25 years.

Ernest Weatherstone Robson is remembered at Elswick on E35.03 E35.09, E35.15 and E35.33
