Also his father-in-law
C.P.O. W.R. Gilderson R.N.
Died 17.2.1942 age 76

The Geordie at War Project states:

"There is no additional information regarding Corporal Baron or the circumstances of his death. As he was killed during World War Two his records are still held by the Ministry of Defence and will only be released to a relative. Despite enquiries the Regimental Museum have not been able to provide us with any further information".

A “J. Baron” is remembered on Whorlton W53.02 Is this the same man?
