Robson, J., L/Cpl., 1916
On the Thiepval Memorial is the name of 28/355 Lance Corporal James Robson, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 01/07/1916.

He was the third son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Robson. He succeeded Jas. Snowdon as Secretary of Sunday School.

He was reported missing on July 1st, 1916, after the big fight on the Somme. He was 20 years of age.

James Robson is remembered in Benwell on B86.02 and B86.15
