In Malo-Les-Bains Communal Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 73463 Captain John Alfred Russell Jameson serving with the Army Dental Corps who died between 01/06/1940 and 04/06/1940.

He is included in the Scout Roll of Honour 1939-45 as having died at Malo-Les-Bains when staying behind at Dunkirk to assist the wounded. He was associated with the 62nd Newcastle Group of Scouts.
